Lady Gaga "Paparazzi"

Well I have to say Lady Gaga has got to be one of the most original, creative and sexual pop stars out there right now. She's not generic and she's not afraid to push the limits. For her it seems to be all about the music and all about her genuine respect for her loyal fans. "Paparazzi" is one of her slower songs with a good beat, melody and meaningful lyrics! I give this song a 3/5.

Enter Shikari "Common Dreads"

Time for something fresh! Enter Shikari is a personal favorite of mine. Their new album "Common Dreads" is absolutely amazing! Their blend of electronic sounds and rock is just to perfect. This album is a must listen. Their lead single "Juggernauts" has an amazing instrumental along with lyrics that really speak to you. Every song on this album is just as good as the last. I give it a 5/5!

Miley Cyrus "The Climb"

Okay, who else is getting sick and tired of "Hannah Montana" and Miley Cyrus? To me, every time Disney sees a star of one of their shows gain just a little bit of popularity, they beat them down everyone's throats. Just like Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, and The Jonas Brothers. Need I say more? This song isn't horrible and neither is Miley's voice, which has a very mature tone. It's just mass produced, which in my opinion takes away, because it's not original and it's not creative. Unfortunately I give this song a 2/5.

Taking Back Sunday "Sink Into Me"

This song kind of reminds me of their old stuff. It's got a indie sound to it and I love vocals. To me this song is the best one on the album. Now what I don't like about it is it kind of reminds me of The Strokes a little bit. So they strayed a little bit? It's still good! I give it a 3/5.

Silversun Pickups "Panic Switch"

Now, when I first heard this song I didn't really like it. This band is an acquired taste because now I love it! The artistic measures in this song are amazing. The drums are complete insane it honestly blows my mind. Give this song a chance you won't be disappointed! I give it a 5/5!

Devildriver "Bitter Pill" from the album "Prey for Villains"

Well for all the metal heads out there, Devildriver is coming out with a new album on July 14th of this year. This is a preview of what to expect... it's their latest release from the album. I honestly think it's their best installment because Devildriver has always set themselves apart from every other mainstream metal artist. They are one of the heaviest bands out there. This song is amazing! Give it a listen and tell us what you think! I give it a 4/5.

Coldplay "Life in Technicolor II"

Well most Coldplay fans will find a familiar sound in this song. It's because this song appeared on "Viva La Vida, Death and all his Friends" as an into instrumental track. I always thought that this song would sound awesome as a full musical piece with lyrics, and they finally did it! This song is set to be on the new album "Prospekt's March". I like this version a lot more than most of their new stuff. It's got a very catchy and familiar sound that goes back to their roots. I give this song a 3/5.

Killswitch Engage "Starting Over"

So did I mention that I do all genres? I'm the ultimate music lover! What can I say? Anyway, Killswitch Engage just came out with a new self-titled album. To me, it goes back to "The End of Heartache" days. Starting Over has a lot emotion, but at the same time, it kicks your ass! The song is also one that we can all relate to. The song is a little repetitive, but it's still got that Killswitch intensity that they will probably never lose! I give it 4/5.

Katy Perry "Waking Up in Vegas"

Okay, we all know Katy Perry from "I Kissed a Girl" and "Thinking of You" but, to be quite honest, this song is much better. It's got a harder sound to it and it's really not that poppy. I don't really think it's going to be that big because, while the song is good, it's pretty generic too. I really like the concept the song has. It has that "what the fuck" feeling like Perry explained to The Sun where she also explained that it had a lot of real life inspiration to it as well. From that perspective, it adds a strong sense of reality to the song. This song is definitely worth a download. I give it a 4 out of 5.
